Day 4: Newbury-Devizes (70 or 100 km/43 or 62 miles)

If you want to visit Stonehenge, we recommend splitting this step into two stages so that you have enough time for your visit to Stonehenge. With several bike paths on previous railways, such as Thegranite Way, Drake's Trail and Plym Valley Way, this could be a worthy end to your London drive.The route is described in Fiull in our route book.Allow two or three days for the 160 km/99 mile drive between child stage and Plymouth.When you continue to Cornwall, you can easily divide this stage into two by getting halfway through a rural accommodation.
Deb 9: Watt-Cuetal-Signline (35mm/211 Models):
No joke. This is the hill and most difficult on our route.Beautiful view of the sea by the coast of the coastWill you forget that you are climbing the heights of two serious cols in the Alps. Just take your time. 9 km/6 miles are uphill with gradients of more than 15%.Tintagel Castle, surrounded by the myths of King Arthur is the mysterious finish on this trip.If this is too much, remember that our book also has an alternative route throughBodmin Moor.Although higher and more distant, this route is less up and down and therefore easier to reach.

Day 13: Transfer Penzance-London one beyond
Catch the train pretty early in the morning before 5-hour trip to London.Make reservations for your bike well in advance.From London Paddington, our guide takes you again through traffic -bound routes in the center of London to each main station in London.With these routes you can also cycle the rent to the rent at London Bridge Station.You can also catch a train to Todover or Harwich for a ferry back to the continent late at night. If you are on your way when you have shared along the way as suggested and also bike dover-london or harwich-london, the total number of days would add19 to 20 days.
